Perfect Cadence was a blast! It's her second best night this year! Whoot! Had a really really great time that night! If only it could last a little longer, but then again, it lasted longer then the best night this year, so she should at least be contented.
The entire day really started in the afternoon and not the morning. That morning, she played with her brother and did not really do anything constructive for that special night. In the afternoon, the blazing sun did not help at all as she dashed from place to place, trying to race against time in order to get everything read by 6 that evening.
She got her hair done first! Had her hair done at this saloon which looks super isolated and deserted! Creepy! On the brighter note however, it cost her only 8 bucks! Nice! The hairdresser plaited her hairs upwards, creating a really nice hairband-like fashion. Sweet!
Thereafter, her friend and her had to rush back home to apply the make up. Hate the make up! And would you believe it?! She found out that everyone else had their make up done by professionals!! Only hers was D.I.Y.!! Hmpf! BUT! Everyone was impressed that she did it herself! Hee! Compliments, compliments! Nice!
Everyone looked gorgeous! Elegant and matured! There were eye candies everywhere! While walking into Fullerton Hotel with her friends, a caucasian whistled at them. As they turned back, the caucasian smiled and asked, "Is it your prom night tonight?"
They nodded enthusiastically and smiled back at him. "Well, enjoy your night then, gorgeous!" With that, he turned and walked through the door in which they entered.
Snap! Snap! Snap! So many pictures were taken! It took as long as 30 minutes just to get to the toilet as she would be stopped mid way just to have her eyes suffer under the gaze of the blinding flash. Nevertheless, photos are the only source of remembrance for this wonderful night! Who can complain? It was all smiles that night!
The night was fabulous! The programme was great, but the food was a tad disappointing. Or perhaps it was because she wasn't hungry that night. Her friend even had to force feed her! As if she were a kid! Hmpf! Too bad though, she was running around nearly half the time thus, her friend had a hard time getting her to eat! Oh dear.. she really does sound like a kid now. Geez!
Perfect Cadence ended at 12:30am. A few of her friends proceeded to the party at some club. Have no collection of the name but it was near Clark Quay. Her friends and her decided to give it a miss as it would mean forking out another 18 bucks and she didn't really want to go clubbing. Her parents would kill her!
They decided to walk to Clark Quay in the end. It wasn't that far, but the heels! It was killing her! Argh! She wasn't the only victim of fashion. Seems her friends were also having difficulty coping. Some gave up and decided to walk bare footed! After what seemed like an eternity walking by the Singapore river, they arrived at Clark Quay. They decided to sit by the steps along the river to admire the scenic environment across the river. There were couples sitting there too and the environment was romantic, i guess. An ideal location for a date?
Suddenly, her friend spotted a cockroach, but seeing that it wasn't going anywhere near them, she decided to keep mum since it would only terrify the other girls. However, as she turned, she noticed the cockroach running towards them! She nearly screamed, but she calmly said, "It's coming!!" Everyone screamed! With their heels on, it was difficult to stand and the stairs were not say gentle. It was a wonder they did not fall into the river.
Thereafter, they made their way to .... some place at Clark Quay. [Hee! I can't remember the name. It's where all the pubs are. There are quite a number of christmas trees there. They looked beautiful!] They decided to stop at TCC to take a break. There, she saw some of her secondary 1 and 2 classmates! Seems they were there after their prom too! They were from VJ. They looked sexy!
Surprise, surprise! She saw one of her friend and her boyfriend too! They looked so loving. Her boyfriend is already working! Nice! They treated her to some finger food and before long, it was time to leave the place as the dishes were cleared.
By then, it was already 3 am in the morning. They met up with some of her friends who went to the club before heading to the hotel. From what she heard, apparently the place was smoky and let's say, not what they expected hence, they left earlier and decided to join her and her friend instead! They appeared a little tipsy though!
Under their influence, she had her first drop of alcohol without parental guidance? Whoot! She's so naughty! Her parents are gonna kill her if they find out, but she did not think that far. From 6%, she moved on to 10% within 30 minutes. Hee! Alcohol content wasn't that great though. Didn't feel a thing after drinking. At least she thinks she wasn't drunk.
Upon arrival at the hotel, it was Man Utd Vs Benfica! The crucial match! There were 12 of them in the room. 4 guys, 8 girls. Again, if her parents actually finds out that there were guys in the room, she would probably be 8 feet under ground by now! Anyhow, they arrived just in time to catch the match!
You could see how everyone's face changed when Benfica scored! Everyone was so afraid it would be an upset! Okay, maybe not everyone. Some were busy removing their make up, or undoing their hair. She rather watch the match. [=X]
Finally! Just before half time, Man Utd scored!! But no one saw the goal. Somehow, everyone was distracted at the same time and everyone missed it! When they replayed, everyone's eyes were glued to the TV. This guy kept trying to block her view. [-__-] Childish! She had to push him away to see that replay.
During half time, the girls were still fighting over the toilet. She decided to let them fight it out while she played cards with the guys. Before long, half time was over and they stopped playing as they turned their attention back to the soccer match.
Benfica was going to score.
"xXx! Quickly, look at the TV!" she shouted for the guy.
Benfica missed!
She heaved a sigh of relief. "xXx, good thing you looked!"
The guy nearly whacked her on the head! HEe!
Man Utd was going to score.
"xXx! You better not watch! Go hide in the toilet! Quick!!" She shouted again.
The guy stood next to the TV, directing his gaze away from the TV.
Man Utd scored!! Whoot!
"Wah. Next time, I don't need to watch soccer match le," the guy exclaimed as he quickly caught the replay. The guy was rooting for Man Utd.
In all, that poor guy did not catch a single 'live' goals. Replay? Yes.
After the match, they played until around 7 am before proceeding to have breakfast. She was still in her dress! [Oo] Her make up was removed though! The only shop opened around the area was Mac's and that was where they had their breakfast. Not wanting to walk in those heels anymore, she changed to her sport shoes instead. One of the guys claims she looked like a little girl with that dress on and the sports shoes on her feet. [-__-] Seriously! Hmpf! And he kept repeating it.
After breakfast, those that crashed the hotel stay proceeded back home while those that actually paid for the room went back to the hotel. Back in the hotel, she changed out of her dress into something more comfortable and they went on playing till 11am before packing up and preparing to check out.
Coincidentally, her dad was in town, and he decided to give her a lift. He was shocked when he realised she hasn't slept a wink yet! Nevertheless, he was glad she enjoyed herself. Naturally, she left out the bit about guys and drinking. They went for lunch and then proceeded to her school to get something. Thereafter, it was home sweet home!
And that marks the end of Perfect Cadence.
