IHG went well.

Well done hallballers! Both the female and the male team got into the finals! No mean feat! Congrats to all involved. All your hardwork has paid off. =P

People who participated in them gave their best. Regardless of what the results may be, I hope that everyone enjoyed themselves thoroughly. Experience gained would be treasured as we constantly improve ourselves to be the best that we can.

The hand ball games were simply a feast for the eyes and a stimulant of adrenaline. Although we were not the ones running around on court, we were the ones jumping and screaming like monkeys on the side lines. The tempo of the games kept everyone’s eyes peeled and everyone’s heart thumping incessantly to the extent such that sometimes, we forgot to scream.

Even during the finals, the spectators were not daunted by the rain. Everyone still hovered around, fearing that they would play ahead despite the rain. As the rain sprinkled down onto the hardcourt, equipped with the ferocious winds lashing out violently against the impending thunder storm, the spectators remained loyal and strong, choosing to stand in the rain awaiting the final decision rather than hurrying back to hall. Nice one raffles! =P

Would have to apologise to B and E for that night. After all that running about, with the rain splattering down, I guess the dinners that I packed for them were not in the best conditions. >.< Sorry!

Chinese New Year came. YAY!

Would have to thank A and J for accompanying me to Far East, where we walked around the entire complex looking for a suitable set of clothes for me. Really appreciate their help!! ^.^ Thanks thanks a lot!!

On new year’s eve, my mum insisted that I return to hall to get my shoes, since that was the only pair of shoes that I own. My cousin tagged along, eager to see the hall that she once lived in. Upon arrival, all she could say was, “It’s so nostalgic,” and I can imagine how she feels. I wonder how I would feel, if I weren’t staying in hall next semester. Hopefully, that’s a really BIG if.

On the first day of new year, we got dressed in our new clothes and went to you grandma’s place where we met up with all of our cousins (actually, only one family). Thereafter, we went on our usually routine to the temple where we prayed for blessings and thanked the Gods for a happy and fruitful year before. And, that’s the end of visiting.

Haha.

What can I say? I have a really small family.

Anyway, I shall not slowly describe the rest of the new year. It would be a tedious if not arduous task. All in all, I truly enjoyed my new year. Ate lots, and played lots. If you wanna know, I did not bring anything back from hall, instead choosing to do everything after the 4 day break. Haha! Okay, that’s the kind of attitude that will cost me my results. Oops!

I like my small family, ‘cause it just means that we are really close to one another. We do lots of things together, and we are able to meet up frequently. I guess in a way, reunion dinner during Chinese New Year ain’t that special, but still, we treasure it, especially after the demise of our grandpa. It was only after his death that we came to realize how fragile and unpredictable a life is. I still miss him. He used to dote on me really really much. I will never forget the days where he sat next to me as I napped. ^.^

I love my entire family!! They are all really nice. My aunties and uncles always expect a lot from me, thinking that I can achieve so much, but I really thank them, as it is their faith in me that propels me forward to achieve the things that I have achieved in life. Their encouragement and believe in me is something that I somehow cannot get from my parents.

Oh well. <3 them all!! =D

Tx:

Really thank you for the post Valentine trip. You needn’t have gone to such expenses. Haha, but I really enjoyed myself nevertheless. You are ever so thoughtful. Haha, I’m sure that once you enter university, every girl would wanna grab you. Haha!

Oh yeah, I thought we mentioned that I would pay the next time we went out together? HAha! I don’t care, the next time, I’m paying ok? ^.^

Alright, enjoy yourself in camp, ok? Look at the brighter side and I’m sure things would seem better, and at times hilarious. Enjoy your time with your bunk mates, and I hope that you’ll become what you want to become. =P

Thanks thanks once again!! You really made my day. =D
