"This sian-ness is eating me up.. ALIVE! @.@"

------------

I got to drive back home on Saturday! Yups! In the NEW car! Wheee!

The new car is much bigger, and it can be a fright to drive it, but once one is use to it, it's kinda 'shiok' to be behind the wheels. The new car is like some fully automated machine which I am not particularly fond of. Call me an old-fashioned freak, but I feel that such automation is not a necessity! Is there a difference between turning a key, and pressing a button? There's hardly any! A waste of innovation, if one might call it.

The sun roof is definitely a WOW! It's an amazing feeling to be driven - to lie at the backseat of the car, gazing at the stars adorned sky above. What's more, the crescent moon that night was a sight to behold! Breath-taking, if you ask me. Reminds me of the time we laid on our backs and simply embraced the night as stars shot across the sky in India. Simply nostalgic.

The steering wheel is really light, and the brake and accelerator really smooth. Driving this new baby is simply a joy, give its new wide angled side view mirrors! Daddy definitely bought the right car.

One thing though, the automated doors are definitely a hassle. My dad comments that if we were to park up-slope, the doors would not close! And, if we were to park down-slope, the doors would not open!! I wonder if that's true. Can we go Genting to test it out? Haha!

That very night, we went to SSC to indulge in the Oktober fest celebrations held there. My dad bought this plate full of meat for both my brother and I. While eating, we were constantly debating the type of meat that went into our mouths.

"That's beef!"
"No! It's mutton!"
"Eew.. It has a strong taste!"
"I like the chicken!"

Pity though, that we did not take any photographs. It was really a plate full! Like stacked to the top! (Although a plate has no top to speak of, but you know what I mean) My brother was so sweet! He knew that I wouldn't touch the chicken, so he cut it up and placed it on my plate so that I would eat my share of the chicken. The chicken was really tender! =) Delicious!

After that plate of meat, we ordered sandwiches and ebi tempura! The ebi tempura is really mouth-savouring! Seriously! It's soft in the inside and crispy on the outside! Topped with the sauce provided, it was simply YUMMY!!

What's an Oktober fest without beer? Back in Germany, they have beer available in all taverns like 24/7! You will never find a tavern out of beer!! At least, that's what they boasted about, and Daddy of course couldn't resist trying out German beer! He ordered one white and one black, and out of curiosity, I took a sip too. It definitely tastes better than Tiger beer.

The girls who were taking orders for beers were dressed in their traditional costumes, and the guys in the band were too! They looked good! I like their costumes!!

I like this shot I took!

=)

Daddy says,"Mummy is going to knock me on the head for this!"

I love the atmosphere at SSC! <3

"Society is just too complex."

-------------

We are finally "Off the script!" like what yuko writes. Haha!
It was a much enjoyable experience!!

Guess what? We've been together in Concert for 3 years! How cool is that?! =) Hehe. Then again, your experience this time might have been filled with obstacles ba. Don't worry! I might not exactly know what you went through, Yuko, but whatever the case, just remember the sweet memories and leave those bitter ones hidden. Hehe! After all, we grow through adversity right? =) Jiayous for all your projects now!! =P

Thanks guys, for always making the effort to come down for RH concert every year! Thanks thanks!! =)

As usual, my dad did not stay even though he sms-ed earlier to meet later after the show! Grr. Always the same. My brother's importance preceeds mine.
Whatever.
I have stopped expecting.

Anyways, received a much pleasant surprise in my room on Sunday after the last show!! Thanks, darling!! Hehe! Love the chocolates and the bubble tea! It really made studying for the test much easier. Not to mention, him constantly poking me to keep me awake did help too!

As usual, concert is like another unique experience. Although it's my 3rd year running, but the experience is always different each time round. =) Sweet it will always be, though fraught with problems once in a while.

-------------

Oh wells, now that concert is over, I do feel a little lost. Haha.
Post concert syndrome is what he calls it.
Anyways, tests tests test!! 5 more tests and then finals!
Time to mug now.
No more slacking!

"This feeling of not-wanting-to-do-anything is becoming a friend.."

--------------

I need to study!!
But I don't want to to!

...
Run
Run
Run.

Run
RUN
RUN!

...
Okies, I'll need to study.
One can only run so much.

-------------

I hate people who fall sick!
Yeah, I really do.
Probably because I don't fall sick.
Haha. Silly, right?

But I really do dislike people who fall sick.
Take care of yourselves, people!!
Maybe it's because my brother falls sick easily, and my parents will then pay all their attention to my brother.
Jealousy rules in my body! ARgh.
Gotta change.

Falling sick is natural
FAlling sick is natural.
Falling sick IS natural..

zZz. Falling sick is WEAK!
WEAK WEAK!
MUAHAHA.
WEAK.

And so the devil got the better of the angel.
Tune in soon, for the next battle.
Will keep you guys posted.

Why do I care so much?
HaHA!
The brain is dead.

Long night ahead.
Study!!

Let's see how long I can stay awake.

"Save the brain, please!"

"To look back and truly smile.. is it even possible?"

--------------

I just feel like screaming.
I feel like shouting.
Feel like just screaming
At you.
Just you.

But I can never do that, can I?

I'm going crazy..

I really wanna scream.

I won't write about dance, 'cause I don't think I have any rights to write about it right now.
So let's skip that.

On to school.
Atrocious!
A mid term RIGHT after concert.
WOW.
How am I gonna do it?
All the drug names to memorise.
Anti-depressant drugs.
Anti-epileptic drugs.
CNS drugs.
Parkinsonian drugs.
And so much more.
Know their drug interactions, their pharmacodynamics, their pharmacokinetics, their contraindications.
Know their disease pathology, their dosage.
-screams-

All less than 12 hours after concert.
Congratulations! =)

Just do it, man.

--------------

I think I'm too full of emotions.
I need to be de-sensitized.
Like how most Singaporean men are.

Yeah. Life would be much easier that way.
De-sensitize.
The new way to go.

DESENSITIZATION.

Makes everything much easier, doesn't it?

-------------

Sometimes, you sms me and wonder, Why am I doing so much, when she doesn't seem to really appreciate?
Sometimes, I think, I don't understand why I'm doing the things I'm doing either, but I went ahead with them nonetheless.

Appreciation.
Everyone earns to be appreciated. To be recognised.
How many will say they are doing all things just for themselves, and only themselves?

In a performance, eventually you'll perform to meet the standards of others. Won't you be ashamed if your own personal standard is much lower than others? Sooner or later, critics by others will get to you, and you realise the standards that you've set for yourself is too low.

So isn't it the truth? Life is a performance. Do we perform for ourselves? We live for others, not really for ourselves. Most of the things we do is to gain some sort of affirmation - at least if you are one for those mainstream personals.

Sometimes, I tell myself. Not all things need such recognition, but still I grimace. Still, I wonder, do you really? On and on the thoughts run, wondering if it's all worth it; wondering if it's all simple foolishness.

And that's when desensitization rocks. Yeah.
